It's who I am......
I am... Jennifer, Jen, Mom etc....
I Want.... to lose weight
I Have.... a wonderful life.
I Wish..... upon stars when I see the first one every night. Star light Star bright, First star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight!
I Hate... losing my patience
I Fear... that I "what if" to much.... I always wonder how my decisions will affect others
I Hear.... I'm hungry from my boys constantly
I Always... talk to Rob at least twice a day while he is working
I Usually... have a glass of choc. milk before bed
I Am Not... a good housekeeper...cleaning happens only after I have played with my boys!
I miss... my family!
I love... hearing my boys laugh!
I Never.... answer the phone on the 1st ring...crazy I know
I Rarely... take time for myself
I Cry... on the 1st and last days of school. There is no way of stopping the tears when I am reminded of how quickly my boys are growing up.
I am Not Always... quiet during my boys soccer and football games. I cheer loudly!!
I Lose... my patience when my children don't listen
I'm Confused... as to why I see tip jars all around anymore. Don't we all wish we were tipped for every little thing we did?!
I Need...to remind myself to enjoy every moment...never take anything for granted...it is easy to get caught up in a busy day and forget to find simple pleasure in the small things.
I Should... tell my husband how much I appreciate him more often.
I Dream...every night!
I tag.. Jessica

Pumpkin Patch
I just love fall! It is my favorite time of year! We started it off with a bang yesterday and took the kids to a pumpkin patch over in Omaha. Oh my goodness.....it was amazing. We spent 7 hours there if you can believe it. This place is huge. They have all kids of things for the kids to do....little walk-thru fun houses, big huge slides, apple shooters, paintball shooting, tike bikes to ride, pig races, old fashioned family pictures, a corn maze, peddle bikes, bouncing pillows, and a train ride just to name a few. Along with those fun things there are little stores all around that sell halloween toys, fudge, caramel apples, popcorn balls, jams and jellies and lots and lots of baked goodies!!! We also sat at a campsite for lunch and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores! The boys had a blast! To end the day we took a hay rack ride out to the pumpkin patch and cut our own pumpkins off the vine! I took quite a few pictures so please look at the slide above and enjoy!!!!

Happy Birthday Cooper
This past Monday, Sept. 22, was Cooper's 5th birthday!! It just amazes me to think that it was 5 years ago when we took this cute precious bundle of joy home from the hospital. Again, time never stands still. As I look at him I see a little boy who is very independent, wants to be just like big brother, can be as stubborn as a bull, has a great imagination and is growing to be a one fantastic young man! As with both of my boys I look forward to the next birthday in anticipation of what the year brings! To clarify this I decided to begin quizzing each boy on their birthday. So here is the quiz....and the answers Cooper gave me this birthday!
1. What is your favorite color? Black
2. What is your favorite food? Steak
3. What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy? Play basketball
4. What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy? Eat lunch
5. What is your favorite thing to do with Parker? Play football
6. What do you want to be when you grow up? Fireman
I am excited to see how the answers to these same questions change over the years! Memories in the making!

Memories for a Lifetime
Hi-ho-Hi-ho its off to work we go!!! Darn, we are now back to reality. This past week has been so much fun. As most of you know we have just returned from Disneyland. We had a blast!! The weather was beautiful and the lines were short (for the most part). Of course we hit all of our favorites....Splash Mountain, Grizzly Run, Soaring Over California, The Golden Horseshoe and the Hollywood Tower of Terror. We did every ride we wanted to and some more than once! Not only did we take in all of the park rides and entertainment we also were able to visit with a few friends who met us that live in the area. Rob's best friend and his wife met us for dinner one night. And our dear friends who used to live in Billings on our infamous street and their 3 kids spent the majority of the day with us in California Adventure. It was so nice to see everyone! Thanks for making our trip that much more memorable. To top it off, my parents met us there and the boys were thrilled. It was especially nice to see family. Since we live so far away now those visits are few and far between. According to the boys....we will be back next year! I think they would like to make this outing a yearly event! I'm all for it!!!

Vote for Parker

Can you believe they have Student Council in 2nd grade? I was shocked! I didn't think they had Student Council until Middle School but I am wrong. Today Parker came home and said that not only did he submit his paperwork to be on the Student Council but his homework tonight was to write a speech for Student Council. Mind you, he has to get up in front of his class and give his speech tomorrow. So we sat down at the table...he gave me ideas and I wrote them all down. I only interjected once to refine what he was trying to say but the rest of the speech is what he wanted to say word for word. I am super proud of him for not only wanting to be in Student Council but also for having the "I can do it" attitude and not worrying about getting up in front of his class to give a speech. One child from each class for each grade level is chosen to represent in Student Council! I am excited for him and I sure hope he gets everyones vote!!!! GO PARKER GO!

Way to go boys!!!
Hooray for my boys! I am blessed with 2 wonderful little boys who really do know how to use such good manners! Cooper~ At his pre-school they have adopted the stoplight program. If you have a very challenging day with your manners/behavior you get a red slip of paper. If you have a slight bit of trouble with your manners/behavior then you get a yellow piece of paper and if you have a fantastic day with good behavior and great manners you get a green piece of paper. Once you have 5 green pieces of paper you get to choose a prize from the treasure chest!!! Cooper got his 1st green piece of paper today! We are so proud of him! Parker~ At his school they follow a life skill program. If you are caught using, showing or demonstrating a life skill (i.e. patience, organization, effort, honesty, perseverance etc...) you are rewarded with a congratulations note card! They teach different life skills to the children and help them understand each life skill as part of the lessons taught by each teacher! Parker received his 2nd life skill note card today! We are so proud of him as well! Keep up the great work boys!!!
1st Day of Pre-School
Today was the 1st day of pre-school for Cooper! He was so excited this morning! He actually jumped out of bed and immediately got dressed. He thought it was so cool to be doing exactly what brother was doing....getting dressed for school, eating breakfast, getting bathroom stuff done...getting his backpack etc....We kept to the ritual and took pictures this morning on HIS first day of school. Parker was such a great big brother. Telling Cooper how much fun he was going to have at school and that he wanted to hear all about it when he got home from school himself. Again, I am thinking I cannot believe Cooper is old enough to be going to school! On the way to school this morning I was thinking that by the time we dropped Parker off to school and made it to Cooper's school that his excitement might wear off. Once he knew mom and dad were actually leaving him for a few hours he might be a little more reluctant to head to school. My thoughts were WRONG! On one hand I was super impressed that he had absolutely no problem with us leaving him at school! Yet, deep down, I really wanted him to want me!!!! So off he went....looking back and giving us the rock on sign! All the way home I cried....and let me tell ya...the house is way to quiet! I know in time I will relish in the fact that I actually have a few peaceful and quiet moments to myself now. But today....I am lonely!!!!
