Today was Track Day for Parker's school! The entire school was bussed to one of the high schools here in town and they spent the whole day having fun! Kindergarten thru 2nd grade participated in field events in the morning and then track events in the afternoon. In between, we ate lunch in the football stadium! It was fun to watch all of the kids but even better seeing all of the parents who spent the day with their children...cheering them on! As you can tell by one of the pictures Parker received 2 1st place ribbons, 1 third place ribbon and 1 fourth place ribbon for his running races!!! What I liked the most is that once a child received a 1st place ribbon they were then grouped with other 1st place ribbon winners in the next race. This provided an opportunity for everyone to get at least one 1st place ribbon!!! Great job on the part of the PE teacher!!!! All in all, it was a great day had by everyone! Now....Cooper is super excited to be able to participate in Track Day next year as a kindergartner!

We call it Field Day in NV and our's was equally GREAT. All 3 of mine participated. Kaden's was on the "big kid's" playground (elementary) and K-4 walked to the upper campus. Each K-4 student was assigned a college team. Both girl's were on Team UCLA, so appropriate for us!! Everyone got a college team shirt to wear. It was a TON of fun. We don't get awards though. Awesome job by Parker!!!
Congrats to Parker! Good Job!
