Happy Days
Here is a quick slide of some Christmas pictures! Enjoy! By the way....turn the sound off of the slide by clicking on the speaker looking icon. I have no idea why I chose this slide with music but it interferes with the playlist below. Better to just turn the sound off!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas! Rob made it home (at 1:15am) on the 23rd and we were all super excited to see him. Santa, of course, was very generous to the boys and even left a note for them telling them how happy he was that they were such good young boys. I again, relished in the fact that I am truely blessed with such a beautiful family. As we were preparing for Daddy to return home and deciding what to get him for Christmas...my boys yet once again reminded me of the simple pleasures of life. Neither one of the boys wanted to go shopping to buy Daddy something for Christmas. They each had a special idea for him. Cooper colored a reindeer picture and Parker made a picture frame for a school picture and decorated it. To them...those were the best gifts ever to give to daddy. The best part...they thought of it all themselves. It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and loose sight of what the season should be/is all about. I am proud to say that my boys know the true meaning. It is not about the present or how many presents you can get or give. It is about the simple thought and/or action of showing someone how much you care and love them. The true meaning is the celebration of life.

Pre-School Program
Today was Cooper's pre-school program! His 1st one at that. Oh my....I must say he is just a little handsome guy and he sang his heart out. Quietly in his own little way! After his performance he wanted to wish his little friends Merry Christmas and he was surrounded by hugs!!! From girls no less!!!

Guess What?!
This morning after we dropped Daddy off at the airport we went to Bass Pro Shop to look around. And to our surprise, guess who was there?! You guessed it...Santa! We were not expecting to see Santa today so the boys were not dressed in the proper attire but they still looked adorable! Parker mentioned to Santa that he really likes Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean stuff. Cooper told Santa that he will be happy with whatever Santa gives him! Seeing Santa made our day!!
P.S. Sorry about the flash blur on Parker's coat. Best I could do!!

Parker's 8th Birthday
Today was Parker's 8th birthday!! He had a wonderful day! He had a friend spend the night so they played all morning long. Then we went to Red Robin and they sang Happy Birthday to him and lastly, he ended the day with presents and a fierce game of dart tag with daddy and little brother!!! I still cannot believe he is 8 years old. Wow....growing up quickly. I asked Parker a few questions today just as I did Cooper on his birthday.
